Yes sideways. We put a few broken pieces flat on top of the roll. It's amazing that someone can bust that little piece of clay at 15 yards and miss the whole target on the range.

Used to, but got lazy, carbon is so easy, shoots good, and about indestructable. They lose just as easy though

Another ole codger here who got lazy! Use to build wood, cane, and even cut sticks and made them. Getting old takes the fun out of some things.
