Dog proof traps

I use cheap dry cat food. Sometimes a little fish oil in the cat food container. If you find something is eating your bait, it might be mice. And yes, I have caught mice in dog proofs, pretty much pinches them in half. In order to prevent the mice situation, I started placing a golf ball on the top of the trap after it is baited and set. The coon sees the white ball and easily moves it to get to the goodies. The mice can not get past the golf ball, so your set will be ready and waiting just for your target animal. Good luck!

Where do you guys buy these at? I’ve got a coon problem at my house. I’ve tried live traps and they always tear a hole in the side of them and get the bait out.

That’s what I started to do but don’t want to buy off of a website that’s not legit and lose my money
$13-$14 is about the best you’ll do. Easy enough to find out if a site is legit or not. Google reviews of site. If a scam, people are screaming. Try the trapping sites.
Scheels is legit.
