Was looking at the map and seen the waterfowl blinds just curious if they were worth trying.
i get a limit there every day.
If you're talking about the blinds on the WMA in Taylor/Adair Co., then some are decent...others are bad. None that I know of have been very good this year, except for a couple of days. Really just depends on how far away you are. If you're not too far off, then come and give it a try, but if it's a very far drive...I'd stay home. I can be at about any blind or the boat ramps in 15mins or less and I've actually stayed home a couple of times, because it's been soooo slow down here.
its picking up if this front don't push them out, Don't plan on getting you're limit everyday lol
jet drive + a getaway vehicle is how I remember it
any suggestions on which blind to try.
Are you really hoping someone tells you which blind they have been killing birds out of?
I'd try the one that ain't froze solid. I'd bet a good chunk-o-change that the ones up in the swamp are dern frozed up.
don't waste you're time no ducks here now
Oh come on Boo Boo. Everybody knows we're just covered up right now...haha. On a serious note though, we are getting some ice starting to form on the lake and around some of the blinds. The bottoms are completely locked up right now and I don't see it changing for a while.
Boy those penguines are thick in there tho!
with the warmer temps and rain coming in on monday you think it should thaw out pretty quick. or is it thick ice.
It more than likely won't thaw for weeks in most spots
Yep....Killer of Live Borns is correct. It will take 50 degrees and rain. Not one or the other, but both. And certainly not 45 and 0.27 inches of rain.
