I'll be there. Will be working the booth for the Wheelin' Sportsman fundraiser for the Bernheim Deer Hunt this fall (for hunters with physical disabilities). I've never been so I'm excited to see it all! If you have any questions about our purpose, please feel free to holler at me.
Went today. Quite a few vendors. I expected a bit more for $8 parking and $14 to get in the door although you do get a free subscription to Field & Stream. Seen a big herd of amish guys. The contest they had was a bust. Only 2 photos for the photo contest and 8-10 deer entered in. I guess you can't expect people to pack a mount in for a "trophy". Still had a good time all around.
Went yesterday and wasn't impressed at all. Talked with some of the vendors and they all said attendance was way low and not sure if they would be back. Let's hope next year maybe a little more thought is put in it.
I went and took the family I thought it was horrible. Honestly I wanted my money back but o well. There was more junk vendors than actual hunting vendors.
They might consider dropping the ticket a bit and scheduliing it on a weekend when the biggest basketball state in America doesnt have 3 teams playing.

next year's show will be Jan 30-Feb 1st, which is the first show in the Field & Stream series....but it is also Super Bowl weekend. I guess that's better than basketball season around here.
The Cloumbus Ohio show is 10 times the size they had at Louisville, takes a few hours to see it. We walked through Louisville show twice in 2 hours and left also too much flea market stuff
We had a booth there and were very disappointed in the turnout. Of course, having Cards and Cats play on consecutive days in the middle of the afternoon did not help. Biggest problem was no advertising at all....not one billboard......very little radio, if any. I never heard an ad on the radio or TV, but a couple guys said they heard the ad on Friday on WHAS. They had a coupon in the Courier for $3 off and bought an ad in Ky Outdoors Magazine. Most people we talked to said they heard about the show from a friend. There were some good vendors there, but also several tee shirt, home siding, etc, booths there as well. Apparently they did not sell as many booths as they hoped so they opened it up to non-hunting vendors the last two weeks. Then, they rented the oldest and most run down section of the Fairgrounds to hold the event in. It was actually in two separate wings and you had to walk around hallways to find everything. Not impressed at all. I have been to their show in Indy and Columbus and it was way better.....
