Shot my first first deer while sitting. And would much rather be sitting than standing. I feel like I have more control over my nerves of I'm able to sit

    Couple ridges over
Majority of the time I shoot while sitting. I actually prefer it over standing up. I will however stand up and shoot out of my climber because it's impossible for me to sit and shoot out of it.

I wouldn't feel comfortable sitting shooting a bow, I try to stand. Gun sit, bow stand

I have shot close to 40 deer with a bow (seldom carry a rifle) and I would be willing to bet 90% were shot while seated. Movement, profile, and buck fever are the reasons I choose to set up my stands like mentioned above. While sitting you can rest your bow on your knee while waiting for the shot, continue to use your range finder or a call etc... It is critical to bend at the waist even when seated or you will shoot high and I am speaking from experience.
