Good place to camp and hunt Randy! The accommodations and guide services are outstanding! Price may be a little high, I’ll know when the bill comes! Just don’t do like me and steal the guides rope!

Any good guide will pack your deer out along with the stand!

Man Carp! If you dont watch out you're going get me so much business as a guide that I'll be covered up and won't get to hunt myself.
Well you didn’t get to hunt much on that trip! Too much time taking care of the youngens and elders! But Tarzan will have to get on and fess up to keeping you out all night looking for his deer! I wouldn’t dare let that slip out.

Good shoot'n Carp! It looks like you put that one on the money! ..........especially considering there was a vampire bat sucking the blood out of your neck the whole time you were trying to shoot!.......and no offense but that's not a huge target. Congrats again!

.........how far was the shot?

I took care of the biting creature before the shot. The deer was in the perfect range ever what that is. Maybe 15-18 but I really didn’t ask and never owned one of them high fangled thangs what tells you yardage.
The real question is, after reading all my guide did, Whose deer is it?

Yeah taking care of the youngen was way more time consuming. I got to bed around 3am.

Me and super grandboy hunted tonight. I missed a chip shot on a doe, and he hammered one. Typical! I saw 7 deer, he saw like 9. Ol hound dog makes finding deer a piece of cake. Didnt even bother to blood trail, he took us right to her. Team effort, killing, finding, gutting, skinning, and boning. It would have been cool if we had both scored, but i was glad i did not have to be up half the night doing all that with 2.

Went out yesterday evening with Mark in his place. We have at least a dozen stands there. I got in one we had not hunted this season. It had some feeding sign under some White Oaks. Mark went to the stand where the camera is taking pictures very regularly. Especially when he is hunting a different stand! He gets them in his phone while being in the wrong stand. Even though I saw nothing Mark was getting all sorts of action from early on. He got picked off by moving and his shadow on the ground alarmed the doe. He still got to launch an arrow but it was at a very alert deer. And evidently very quick! Another one in the dirt! But they kept coming back, or more kept visiting, right up until dark. He texted me and said he couldn’t come down because they were too many deer around him. To make it more funny the cam got a few pictures while he was in the tree. My evening may not been exciting but hearing his tales made it a lot of fun. He kept getting pictures through the night, and in the morning. I think they were missing him.
