Just curious if any of you all hunt on farms where the farmers are raising hemp? Several in my area are going to start raising it this year. Some are raising it for oil, others for fiber. I was wondering if the deer will destroy it the same way they do a newly emerged soybean field? The fiber hemp fields look thick and I could see deer using it as bedding cover. I have googled to see what info is on the web about deer eating hemp and I haven't found a whole lot. I guess if it was a good deer food one of the big companies would be selling it in 10 lb bags as the newest latest greatest deer plot seed. I have heard of some guys that have dove hunted over some hemp fields and said the doves loved the seed.
