Sons taking his bow out now that the rain has stopped.
Started this morning in the blind, in the rain, before sun up. About 745 a lone doe strolled through, then about 30 mins later a good buck ran through like he was late for a date, then at about 1100 two young does cruised through. Packed it up at noon because I had to get back for a birthday party. Will be back at it in the morning!
Honeysuckle thicket for me with crossbow in my hand.
Didn't go not interested in the rain and getting sick will maybe hit it in the morning.
They are moving... crap pic but you get the idea. i dont have a buck tag and have not seen a doe in almost a month. If you have a tag go hunt!
Carnivore. That's a big body deer
Carnivore, i have a buck tag.
Breaking my heart over here
Already used my buck tag during gun season. I was looking for does today. Saw several small bucks instead.
I started the thread but hunted somewhere with no service. Cuz killed a big antlerless he thought was a doe at 8:25 with the rain still coming down. We hunted all day. My dad saw a buck chasing 2 does about 3:30. I sat in a great spot from rainy dark thirty until dusk this evening and didn’t see a single deer!
One already dropped his antlers?
Saw 3 young bucks.... pretty slow afternoon
No button buck, sorry. Referring to no visible antlers.
That would have been good action compared to my day! A red tail hawk chasing two squirrels was a fun as it got for me!
