Thanks. Yes indeed. Feel totally refreshed
I'll be taking my 4 year old in the blind tomorrow. Hopefully rain is gone. We were playing animals the other day and I told him to shoot me with the gun and he said no, I've got a bow and aarow. Made me want to shed a tear. Of course we will have a mr buddy heater, snacks, and maybe a little DVD player. Have fun next year.
Sat in a shooting house over looking 8 acres of standing corn with sections recently bushhogged. Saw 3 does early and nothing else. This afternoon has to pick up right?!?
Are you sitting all day? I wouldnt discount the 1 and 2 oclock hours
Bubbles you lost your antlers!
Goodluck to all. Was hoping to be in a blind with the kids but been emptying my gut from both ends the past 12 hours instead.

My scope was 6" high and 2" to left. Glad i shot it. Dead on at 80 yards. How far is that good for? 120 yards?
Gee is your freezer full already?
After shooting over the back of a booner in south central Illinois Monday before last. I am licking my wounds at indoor water park In Nashville today. My girlfriend and her two kids and my two youngest are having a blast. I am also recovering from flu/cold / sinus issue I thought were gonna kill me. I found an archery only st forest on Illinois / Indiana border I may try before taking my son youth weekend and maybe a couple archery doe hunts in ky /Indiana before then. The deer I missed had at least 12 scorable points and guessing 190-200. My buddy who owns Illinois farm has pics of him for years. The good news he is still alive after second firearm and nobody will hunt muzzleloader there. I will return the last week of the Illinois season to try again, but he has 5000 acres he can hide from me on. Good luck everyone, I hope muzzleloader is productive, but it looks like Ky and Indiana hunters both need to hammer some does like every other year.
Just got back in stand for the evening. Sitting on a green field really close to bedding.
