My daughter had told me at the beginning of the season she really wanted to wait on a buck this year, so I said that was fine but we may go without a deer because you know how it goes. But we got to stand that morning and didn't see a single deer, but she stayed a trooper and that afternoon we went out at 2 o'clock at 3:30 we saw a doe being chased by a brute of a deer it was a big white rack deer and we could hear it running up above us in the Thicket so I decided to call and luckily this one answered I don't think this was the dominant deer in the group I think that first big one we saw was and he stayed with the doe, this deer walked in at 25 yards the sun was blaring in her face and she had to stand up backwards in the Treestand we had a face-off with this deer for almost 5 minutes has his vitals were behind a tree finally he started to get nervous and took a couple steps and she drop the hammer! No sooner then she fired the shot she looked over at me and said oh he is so dead! LOL so this is her first buck and I'm a very proud papa. I can't seem to get the picture to upload but keep trying.
