What doctor does he go see? I hadn't heard of taking prednisone for it. I'm on several groups on FB. All they talk about is the SAAT treatment, an it just puts it in remission, if it even does that.
My numbers have come down since I was diagnosed in 2020, but not near what they need to be. I could eat a bite right now and would be dead in 2 hours. When I was first tested my levels was 76.40. You are suppose to have levels of .10 and below. I'm sure mine was that elevated because I ate beef 7 days a week. Last time I went my levels was 4. something.
His family dr here in knott co is who is treating him. If he doesn’t take the prednisone his ankles, knees, and elbows swell and hurt. The lower his levels drop, the lesser prednisone mg he can tolerate. The goal is to eventually get off the medication.

Just bought a new quart off Amazon for less than $20. 1 oz to 1 gallon, this quart will make 32 gallons.

Edit: it’s went up a couple $ in the last month. 6-8% inflation lol. Still a fraction of the premixed Sawyers who are laughing at people all the way to the bank. Kinda like they do the people who send their clothes into a company to be treated lmao. Commonsense is a misnomer obviously haha.

Yeah, I tried all the sprays. Used to soak my clothing in Permethrin and lay them out to dry. Still got ticks. But when I used the Insect Shield company, no more ticks. I had my two pairs of brush pants treated three years ago this summer and still have not had a tick attached to me when I have worn them. Laugh if you want, but they provide an excellent service that works. Lots of others swear by them too.

I’ve used permethrin for years and it works every single time when used correctly. Obviously you agree….
The Insect Shield process uses a proprietary formulation of permethrin in a system, and the resulting repellency is so tightly bound to the fabric fibers of each garment that it lasts through 70 launderings.

On a side note... tell him to get some Emu. I just ate some. I ordered it last week. I cried when I ate. It brought back memories lol. It taste like beef. I was very surprised. It has the look and smell of venison.
