His family dr here in knott co is who is treating him. If he doesn’t take the prednisone his ankles, knees, and elbows swell and hurt. The lower his levels drop, the lesser prednisone mg he can tolerate. The goal is to eventually get off the medication.What doctor does he go see? I hadn't heard of taking prednisone for it. I'm on several groups on FB. All they talk about is the SAAT treatment, an it just puts it in remission, if it even does that.
My numbers have come down since I was diagnosed in 2020, but not near what they need to be. I could eat a bite right now and would be dead in 2 hours. When I was first tested my levels was 76.40. You are suppose to have levels of .10 and below. I'm sure mine was that elevated because I ate beef 7 days a week. Last time I went my levels was 4. something.
