Me and s buddy sure put the hurt on them here's a pile we picked up that fell in front of us, most ended up in the cedar thicket behind us, I took 100 rounds with me and had to go back to the truck to get more!
We shot for 2 1/2 hrs pretty much steady, the old 20 ga took some far birds down with authority.

Probably the funnest hunting there is. Very underrated, and good for the egg layers.

I haven't been much in a few yrs, but had a really good place come up and decided we needed to go.
My old mojo crow still worked, we had about 20 decoys.

The decoys help alot.i started out hunting them without decoys.i stepped up my game and got decoys. it was a game changer for killing more crows.i started taking my buddies and kids.it really is a ton of fun.it did cost me one girl friend back in the day.lol

6 of us hunted a dump in Walton my yrs ago in a big snow like we have now, we shot over 600 shells that day and kill a crap load can of crows!

I’ve crow hunted a few times and usually get a few to come in. Never have I used decoys though. They really make a big difference? Will crows come in and land with the decoys?

It makes a big difference, motion decoys work great they stopped making the mojo crow yrs ago. They won't land it's all pass shooting, find a good cedar thicket and hunt as high on the hill as you can as they will fly mostly tree top high.
The louder the call the better it helps cover up the shots. Stay hidden if they see you it's over.
