Crossbow accident

I’m sure there’s more to the story. I’m trying to figure out how one swings a crossbow around and unintentionally points it at your body?

 

I was wondering the same thing. Very odd accident.

 

I wonder if he wasnt trying to set the string by pushing down on it with the butt on the ground
Then set the bolt in it.. i dont know. Weird.
