I’m like you. We fish Cumberland mostly. Well the river and creek sections and stay mostly off the big end. I typically pitch those 13-14 inch fish back and keep the 10 1/2-11 inchers for table fair. Love me some 10 inch GRL crappie too. Less shoulders means more crispy edges!!!Thats good should be easy to find cover. Ky and Barkley hard to beat. Nolin 9 inch size limit I know. Ill take a live well limit of 10 &- 11 inch Crappie.
I struggle at Cumberland to find them, but GRL not to hard to get on them just can be hard to get a mess of keepersI’m like you. We fish Cumberland mostly. I may head your way next weekend in search of some better fish.Perfect crappie sandwich size.
Richard Gene! Man is an absolute nut, and pick whatever species and he'd catch a stringer full out of a mud puddle.
Everyday.I’m happy with limit of 9”.
9" to 9 3/4 inch crappie at T-ville is the norm & you can catch a bunch. Shame some take them out.I’m happy with limit of 9”.
Crappie will stunt if too many are in a place. Some places they need to be taken out so they will get bigger.9" to 9 3/4 inch crappie at T-ville is the norm & you can catch a bunch. Shame some take them out.
This for sure. The lake we fish you can catch em all day around 8 inches and the size limit is 10. I think a few need taken out to let the remainder growCrappie will stunt if too many are in a place. Some places they need to be taken out so they will get bigger.
