What do you all think of craft? Do you have a favorite or do you think they are an abomination?
There are those people out there. You aint one of em is ye!?
Every now and then if I am at a restaurant or brewery I might do the 4 cup sample deal. On a rainy shop day I can easily take down 12 bud lights throughout the day and walk a straight line to the house at supper time. The last time we were at the local brewery i learned the alcohol percentage was much greater in their craft beers, I probably had four beers that night And as we left felt like I had drink a 30 pack of Budweiser thankfully my lovely woman was there to get me home safe.
Cougar bait is about the closest thing to a craft beer that I will occasionally buy If I’m feeling fancy but that stuff is just so dang expensive
My theory on craft beer is that 90% of them are brewed by Budweiser or one of the national brands.
Well that's closer to the truth than you know. When a new craft starts getting popular Bud usually steps in to make an offer.
Anheuser-Busch(InBev) now owns several
Just to name a few.
I'm a Pernicious and 420 strain fan. Sierra Nevada makes several I like.
Bring on the craft IPAs.
I enjoy Founders All Day IPA if I want to drink several. I also like Southern Tier 2X IPA or anything else on the menu that I haven't heard of before.
I like most by Stone Brewing Co.
And my Fav
Stone Arrogant Bastard..
I don't drink much and these fit the bill
My son is a big craft snob and is always bringing something different home, most is so Hoppy I can't drink more then one or two.
American mass production beer is nothing more then yellow fizzy water made for guzzling and not really enjoying.
Cougar bait is real good, i also enjoy Shotgun wedding just as much if not more.
420 i only tried once. It is as its name suggests.. i didnt quite cotton to it.
Versailles Brewing Company's Hell Yea Lager is my favorite craft beer
I have acquired a taste for hoppy beers with a bite. Wouldn't have liked it 20 years ago.
Actually I just like trying new stuff but IPAs are my favorite.
KY Bourbon Barrel Ale and Country Boy Shotgun Wedding sure do go down awful easy...in moderation. Also a fan of the smoked beer that Blue Stallion carries in Lexington. Tastes a bit like a campfire. Good stuff.
Maybe because it's fresh but local beers usually taste better.
