Just out of curiosity...does anyone here call coyotes (or any other predator) on public land? It’s always been a private land affair for me, however; a few of the farms I’ve hunted over the years have been sold off, changed hands, kids got it, leased etc etc and I’m thinking about maybe giving the Daniel Boone national forest a look.. I have grouse hunted it before and remember thinking that there has to be some fur lurking about.

If anyone here does in fact hunt public land...do you find that your success rate is exponentially lower than private, about the same, or higher?

The Coyotes are Everywhere, but areas that have cattle attract them. Find the Cows, there's the Coyotes.
