It doesn't make sense why you cant trap coyotes year around in Kentucky but in Ohio you can. I usually see coyotes every now and then but not often but starting December they started showing up almost every day and at that time there was five. Now there just one but still a pain in the but cause it there almost every day

Ohio floated the idea of a "season" on coyotes this past fall. It went as expected. I know for a fact one of the submitted comments read "Could you please let me know the fine for killing coyotes out of season without a permit? I'll set aside a few bucks in a jar. OK? Thanks much..."
Somebody with some common sense prevailed. I imagine that meeting was a hoot. With the guy/gal in charge saying "WHAT DID YOU DO"??? Like scolding a puppy or toddler...

I love coyotes and coyote hunting, I wish we had more of them.
Population around my hunting spots is about dried up, people are stupid when it comes to Coyote's and most don't have a clue what they are talking about.
They are the ultimate hunting experience I would love to be able to kill 5 or 10 a day.

I'd rather hunt coyotes than deer any day.

We have to stop the unlimited coyote harvest, obviously.

Wrong! It's because they eat Sasquatch crap, and the state doesn't want us to know just how many we have.
Not to mention large cat stool.

You can shoot them at night year around with a light. That a dumbest thing ever we need to like you can also in Ohio. Also it be a lot easier to trap it they trying to shoot it it doesn't stay long at all when it comes out and I don't see it much
