    You make a lot of good points. I don't think this new law will lead to poaching problems that aren't already occurring. Heck most dedicated coyote hunters hardly deer hunt because they find it boring.
    As far as killing all the coyotes, that'll never happen. There may be some call shy coyotes, but there's a new crop of fresh ears each year. I see and hear more coyotes each year where I live and the Amish are relentless at trapping them.
    Hopefully a few bad apples won't ruin this for the rest of us.

    If I am not mistaken, it used to be 10, like a rifle for deer hunting. But I could be mistaken. ;)

    The only exception to the 3 shells in shotgun rule is when hunting deer. Makes no sense to me. I can hunt with a AR and 30 round mag for coyotes but if I use a shotgun I am limited to 3 shells.

    Well I was getting ready to say you are incorrect, but I looked up in the guide and you are right haha I thought you had to plug shotgun when hunting anything. And thought 10 round max for coyotes. I learned something today, thanks

    Anyone have a few recommendations for a thermal scope that wont break the bank and get the job done? Infrared scope?
    Pro's and Con's?

    This is NOT Thermal but it's good for the Price. Thermal models from ATN start about 2Gs. And go ^^^^.
    If you see anything cheaper that this one, it is too weak n junk.
    Kinda janky the way this system works, but it is doable.

    I appreciate the info.
    Definitely leaning towards a thermal more so than anything..

    @massive horns,
    Here is a few items from ATN.
    One thermal is 2G which I think would be very good. Just How Deep are your pockets? You can spend 3X as much and I'm sure you would get better stuff.

    I hope a lot of folks get into this Night time Coyote Hunting. It has a learning curve, but you have the advantage after you figure things out.
