I got this Female at Lunchtime a couple months ago. I saw the big male first and he ducked over the hilltop and never returned; then the female made a pass through my calves and stopped for a second too long. Distance was 260 yards with the SAVAGE .204. My first Post on this Website; long time poster on "The Varmints Den."
This is a test post to see if I have figured this site out.

She had just weaned pups not so long ago. here is a photo of her Teats: Maybe?

Well, I must have got the post correct......halfway at least.
Difficult for an old guy to figure out all this Komputer stuff.
Hopefully I will get a few more this year after I get my fall hay cut.
This Coyote was Number 11 for the Year, and I got #12 in Colorado on a Prairie Dog hunt.

About the SAVAGE Max 1. I bought this one primarily as a walk around rifle for Prairie Dogs and it is great. I killed 3 Coyotes with it this past winter also; Devastating hits using 40VMax at shorter distances, but the bullet tends to blow up on entrance.. Extremely accurate rifle, but I would have got the .243 also if it was my Primary Coyote rifle.

Nice yote. Can't believe how many you've killed out there in the last few years.
