Do we still have to activate a go phone SIM and select the 10 cents per minute plan and then just pay $19.99 per month for unlimited texting or do we do the quarterly thing like it's stated on the Covert site? Thanks.
I see a plan for 30 dollars and then it's 25 if you choose auto pay. Is this what you are talking about? unlimited talk, text and pictures....... Thanks for your response in advance dupont241. Greatly appreciated.
Call Covert support and get an accurate answer....
Well, I bought a new gophone and SIM card back in Jan so I was given the option and selected the original 10 cents per minute plan and then went online and loaded money onto my account and purchased the unlimited text plan for $19.99. Put the SIM in the cam and it says it's "Searching Network". I see no signal bars and that can be an issue here so hoping that is the problem. I have the big antenna on it but can still be a signal issue. If I take this to work and it still continues, is there anything I am missing that I may have forgotten? Any updates for this cam that may cause issues? Thanks.
I appreciate the help. I was just absent a signal. I stopped on the side of the highway and got 3 bars. Took a manual pic and sent. Worked flawlessly. You can call and verify but they told me that the Gophone plans only worked with the 2014 models.
The 2015 are setup differently.
Thanks for the confidence in my reply.
FYI - I did contact Covert, and i try not to reply if my replys aren't accurate.
Good Deal, better keep the plan.I appreciate the help. I was just absent a signal. I stopped on the side of the highway and got 3 bars. Took a manual pic and sent. Worked flawlessly. It's a 2013. I did in fact get the 10 cents per minute and the 19.99 plan since I bought that card before that package stopped being available. Back side of TVA in Muhlenberg County.

Yea,its better to keep ATT out if it if possible, I help setup 2 - 2013 models for a friend couple weeks ago, we did the same thing with no problems what so ever.ATT had no idea I was using a camera of this sort. Did all my set up and activation in a little gophone. Just moved the card to the camera once I was all set to go.No IMEI numbers or anything.
LOLDon't get your drawers in a wad dude.
