I know very little about scoring, If the beam measures the same length would this area kicking in the way it does be a deduction? I dont see it effecting spread much (maybe 3 inches) because the greatest spread would still start right around the g4 rather than the tips.
The beam bending isn’t a deduction. Only difference in length from the other side. The spread credit is the widest inside but can’t be wider than the longest beam.
Just think of the hours in the stand that many hunters put in each year. Many,many thousands of hunting hours and never see a buck such as this.Many hunt their entire lifetimes and never ever lay eyes on a trophy like this buck. He has taken a buck that dwells in deer hunters minds and dreams every year.... Congrats to him on one hell of a deer.
Hard to tell from the pic but with the body size the deer doesn’t look very old. Could be worn down from the rut though....regardless if he walked by me I would’ve done the same thing!
