Great looking guns. I been looking into buying a 16 gauge but have found ammo is scarce as hens teeth. Also heard a rumor that they were no longer gonna manufacture 16 gauge ammo so I been holding off on getting one

I can find 16ga all day long at Walmart.

LW 20 Wingmaster is near the perfect gun. Especially the older ones. I don’t duck hunt but never had a better rabbit gun.

I have one dad gave me, not sure of the year, has a nice custom cheek piece stock, was mainly used for skeet shooting. He has 3 more, at least 2 of them are the anniversary editions. I got a friend trying to get him to price one. Old man wants to take his stuff to the grave though. LOL.

I just checked, mines the 1966 150 Anniversary Edition as well. Someone just put a custom stock on it.

I grew up hunting with Dad's 16 gauge 870 made in '52 or 53. When I got older I bought me one, it has a one digit shorter serial than his. It must have been one of the first run made.
