Tagged out but I will be in a tree in Pendelton County watching my 12 year old try to fill a buck tag.
Butler co. Only hunted one mornig this week. Passed on 120ish 10 pt. He was cruising. Only stopped to make scrape. Going in the morning.
Hunting butler county went from seeing 9 deer during ml season to no deer on an all day set on Tuesday and two deer today which was a small buck chasing a doe
Lewis, Elliott, and Carter. Starting from top to the last. I'll hunt 3 days in each and if no deer, move to the other.
Marion county, haven't been to this farm since muzzleloader so I don't know what's happening there. Found some decent rubs and made a mock scrape which was opened up the next morning. So I'm hoping for the best. No pressure there so typically is a good place to hunt! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Boyd, Rowan, Pike...hunting boyd to start with but will probably go down to pike to hunt with my Dad.
You guys not in zone 4 have it easy. Here in Whitley county just found my first scrape yesterday. Deer activity is slow unless you count the doe abs two fawns that live in my backyard.
Morgan/Wolfe Scrapes starting to appear on logging roads. seeing small bucks with does durring the day. saw 2 nice bucks at night one nice 10pt. in my driveway the other bigger 10pt. in my hay bottom. both were alone.
Franklin county near the owen county line, don't know what the deal is but everything is gone in my area, went from getting 100's of pics a week to literally a couple. Doesn't look for a promising weekend.
Nicholas County appears no deer in county, vacated last 2 weeks. Could be tough hunting from here on out.
Just landed in McDaniel area of Breckinridge, never hunted this farm before but it's 1,200 acres of corn and soybeans. Nobody here but me and the FIL....let the games begin!!!!
I am beginning to believe that Kentucky's Deer Hunting is not as good as advertised. I saw more Deer in SW Indiana, when I lived there. Just wonder if the lack of sightings & signs, many here are having, is due to too liberal harvest of Doe or poaching.
