Seen a few does killed on I-75 the last few days. Started finding scrapes two weeks ago.

Finally found a scrape. Rubs are few, nothing recent and have yet to see any chasing. Younger bucks showing up to spar and the bucks I've seen while out are still running together. Hopefully the drop in temps this weekend will flip the switch here.

Metcalfe was heating up, but the heat seems to have slowed things down. What me and the cams are seeing. Looking forward to cooler temps.

Temps definitely seem to have dusk and dawn most activity in Henderson County, but of course that is almost always true. But I am hoping when it cools off soon, the daytime activity picks up. Roadside deer at night and early morning really picked up last week or so. Also getting pics on camera of some bucks still eating together around midnight. Few scrapes appearing slowly this week in Henderson. Scrapes and few rubs started few weeks ago 50 miles southeast at Ohio county farm.

I live in Nelson county. Every buck I have on camera is in the dark. We're finding rubs and scrapes but we have yet to see a buck during day light hours. Couple of days ago I seen 8 does 0 bucks. We need some cold weather fast or this season it's going to be very slow.

Plenty of scrapes and rubs in Oldham Henry county area. One buck chasing two others off on Monday the last time I hunted.

Madison is slow slow I did see a decent one chasing on depot but that's the only positive sign I've seen during daylight but it's a whole different world over there

6 DOE and 3 Bucks. 1 was 3.5yo. All bucks cruising and oblivious to their surroundings. No bucks following the does. I feel the cruising has really just begun and will peak throughout this weekend.

Haven't been back to the farm in pendleton county south of Falmouth since Sunday. Sat Sunday night and didn't see anything. Saw 5 bucks and 7 does Saturday morning. 1 new scrape and atleast 5 new rubs from the previous week. It's a new farm for us. Hung 2 cams Sunday will check them this Saturday.
