Dont i know it!!
Got broadheads sharp last night!
...........of course the timer is set for those of us on Eastern Standard Time. You poor souls that are forced to hunt the "Deer Mecca" of western Kentucky will have to wait an additional 30 to 45 minutes! LOL!
Got a special bow I want to blood this year, 3 bows actually, all made by friends. I’m a lot more fired up than I was last year.
This would be a picture required moment but guess I’ll get to see them this next weekend at the Tyler Robert’s Memorial shoot.
Getting ready, Broadheads being shot now, more being sharpened!
My second best friend got married on Saturday, Oct 1, back in early 80's when deer season opened on Oct 1. I told him the wedding better be over before 3:00 if he wanted me there. lol. I wasn't kidding. I was in a tux, then changed into camo in the parking lot and went to the woods. His wife never understood why I wasn't at the reception. To be honest, I wasn't surprised when they divorced.....
As a Pastor I always advise against getting married during the beginning of bow season, especially if they want me to perform the ceremony!
Done some scouting and stand checking this morning.
Little more of this mornings adventure...
Sure looking forward to Saturday morning!!
...........and it's supposed to be 62 degrees Saturday morning!! Woo Hoo !!
