So on Grandmoms side there were 5 kids that grew up in small cabin on the mountain. Great grandpap bought the farm in 1912, selling that cabin to do so. They b uilt the house my cousin now lives in in 1919, and the first barn in 1920. Gram was the first to pass in 84, then the only boy in 96, two sisters in 2008 and 2014. Well the last of the generation, Aunt Marg is 98. Started having some issues with her foot, turns out the artery from the knee down has a 90% blockage. They tried surgery but they weren't capable of doing anything due to the weakness of her arteries. They felt she was to weak to amputate and she wouldn't let em if she was. She has made the energizer bunny look weak in her lifetime. She was always doing something at church or helping someone. I get a lot of my smartassness from her! Went to visit her (she is 6 hours away) this week, unfortunately I don't think she recognized me. Read her some bible, held her hand, prayed alot and cried a lot. Gonna really miss her, like my grandmom (who died way to young) she has left her mark on me and we have a lot of good memories. Please pray for her peace in her passing.
