Bullshit.
I keep my places low impact until I decide to kill something. Some potlicker with a hound has no right to f*** up my property before I can even hunt it, especially in the middle of the night.
Yeah nothing like going in super slow taking your best of time to not spook anything sit longer than you would just because you've had ol'mossy horns on camera then pull cards on way out after you gave up just to find trespassers been in there with loud mouth dogs half night. I mean you make every effort to be sent free and they tromp around with not a care in the world. Just like meatstick said "no right"

We as hunters should all get along we have enough people that’s not in the hunting world against us any way. I understand it’s your land and you evidently don’t want anyone on your land. I’m not trying to argue with you maybe just try to make you and some others understand from a different point of view. Coon hounds cost thousands of dollars these days and let’s say they did turn loose on your neighbors place and trees a coon on your deer paradise. If you was them would you leave a 6 to 10 thousand dollar dog over there just because it crossed over the fence? If you was in there shoes I say you would not. If they get in there and get their dog and don’t bother nothing then there is really no harm. The coon hunters and the dogs will not scare your deer herd. If any thing it will save you money keeping dang coons out of your corn pile.
Oh brother! So it’s ok to trespass because you’ve got an expensive dog? Seems like every coon hunter thinks they should be able to trespass at will. Wonder what other game laws they violate at will??

I have been feeding corn and coons are regulars on the pile. I would gladly give a reasonable person permission to coon hunt. But, I wouldnt like the fact that they feel entitled because they have been doing it for forty years. That ain’t how this works.

Last year, I had a Dude on the camera 100 yds behind the house at 5:00 am. My house is in the middle of my farm and there are no other houses around close. That dude was lucky I didn’t catch him back there, all I’m saying!

Back when I coon hunted there was no problems hunting anywhere . Landowners would hear dogs and just say someone is coon hunting. They wanted trappers and coon hunters. Reason why ?? is it kept varmints out of gardens and out of their chickens. It kept critters from taking food we eat .
Some of them would show up just to join in on a hunt. Back then no one threw down trash and did not steal nothing . Hunters got out and walked, not driving through fields .
House's was few and far between . Now places are cut up with homes or small parcels of land. No one can trust anyone now days.

Boys I could care less about a 200 inch deer and I could care less about a darn old stinking coon. I’ve hunted both over the years and I will say this coon hunting I can’t do because work gets in the way and I can’t stay out all night. Deer hunting I still do because I got a young boy that loves to go , if not for that I could care less about going anymore. Here’s one reason I could care less about deer hunting is hearing a bunch of dang cry baby’s think they on every deer in the woods and get mad when the adjoining neighbor kills the one they think should have walked and get mad and talk about them like a dog.I’m a land owner I hunt I will also let other people hunt . I guess you can say I’m like an old timer like the guys was when I was a kid and didn’t care if you went hunting or not because it was just being good to your neighbor. The newer generation of people has been so brain washed by hunting shows and have such a smart a$$ attitude anymore it’s unreal. You guys are the ones that’s destroying hunt for the newer generations that’s coming up. Boys if y’all don’t stop fussing among yourself you won’t have a place to take your kids hunting in the near future unless you own your on land or public.

I couldn’t disagree more. If you buy the land, pay the taxes on the land, work the land, etc., I find it hard to say everyone should have the right to use it anyway they want etc. That belief baffles me to say the least. It would seem I could just come take and use anything any time land or otherwise with that thought.

This topic has been a debate on here for years. Always ends up in heated discussions. But people anymore are more selfish with there land then they use to be. Large farms are sold off to small 10-20-50 acre plots that city people buy and are not willing to share there land. I was raised that it’s a gift from the Lord that we can “own” which we don’t, it’s not ours, it is a gift from God and we are to be good stewards of what the Lord give us. Just because man puts his name on a piece of paper don’t mean nothing, we can loose that at the blink of an eye. But that’s just how I was raised and I understand most people these days wasn’t raised to believe in God anymore or to follow his advice. People see it as “I” bought this with “My” money that “I” made. And will not share or let anyone else on what “I” bought with “My” money. It’s all greed. I let people hunt on our property. I wish I had enough to let everyone that asks to hunt. Just isn’t safe to have people over hunt a small parcel of land. So you have to say no sometimes due to safety. I see signs of people on our farm all the time. I hear dogs running back there coon hunting at night. Hear some beagle from time to time from rabbit hunters etc. what’s funny I have asked several and I mean several to come kill coyotes and only a couple have showed. I want coon hunters to come kill the coons before they get diseased and it spreads to dogs. No one coons hunts or traps anymore. But I’m a diff type of a man I guess.
