So I have a question not wanting to start a argument. Your hunting and shoot a deer it crosses a property line 20 yards back of the farm. What are you going to do ? Property owner says nope your not crossing.

Coon hunters that trespass aren't hunters, their poachers and will be treated as such. If you coon hunt a piece of land you should talk with adjoining owners and ask if they want a call if(/when dogs cross the line). You can ask if you can clean their coons out and when they want you to steer clear (like a week or 2 before deer gun). Its easy enough to do and id like to have a coon hunter kill the coons in my area 2-3 times a year. Very few coon hunters put in this level of effort or courtesy thus the poor reputation among real hunters.
I have seen some of the stuff that so called deerhunters do to and its not nice probaly the reason i dont like so called deerhunters on my property at all,and yes iam a coonhunter

All you guys saying you would go get the deer! Trespassing is trespassing what gets me is why can't we all work together. I don't coon hunt places during deer season. Does it hurt nope I have saw it for myself multiple times. If anything it helps if he's nocturnal he will switch up to daylight. The man getting his dog is scum but most will do the same exact thing to get the deer. Hunting of any kind has enough enemies without us at each other's throats.

I have never deer hunted a property without speaking to and getting to know the neighboring property Owners. So I wouldn’t put myself in that situation.

I’m sure I’m a minority here but I don’t care what you call yourself deer Hunter coon hunter, stay off my land and keep your animals off my land. Cats dogs cows all of them. If you shoot a deer and it comes on my land you better call and ask for permission or you better no get caught. I have given people permission to go get their deer, I’m not like that, but I also have some who shoot across the property line, and they won’t get permission. Trespassing is trespassing don’t justify doing wrong.
