Coon Hunters Trespassing Last Night

Respectfully disagree. Don’t turn your dogs out if they aren’t going to stay on the property you are allowed to hunt.

No harm? Disagree. If dogs are on your property 22-3am and you go to hunt at 6 to think deer won’t be busted out for a bit. Off their pattern. Human scent etc is in my humble opinion clearly incorrect.


You own the property. You pay taxes, take care of it etc. YOU should ge the only one dictating what goes on the land and whose there etc

Agreed ! People that dont understand that, are not property owners.
I dont want the liability of people stumbling around in the dark on my place, I dont want tools missing from my barn, i dont want my deer disturbed, and I dont want to be woke up at 2 am hounds baying beside the house!
People can argue on all these points, but the last one . Any of these infractions is enough for me, but unless you have a stealth hound, the last one cant be remedied.

Well I don’t take offense to really anything on here but that rubs me the wrong way. My dad logged for years and years and is the most honest guy you can meet. And put clothes on our backs and food on our table from logging. He should’ve told that farmer to build his barns from plastic then.

There’s good logging outfits, and then there’s the rest of them that are unethical scam artists. About like roof companies and asphalt contractors. Property owners need to do their research before signing a contract.

ich was my case exactly. Had an ahole claimed he had permission to hunt my neighbors, but could not tell me his name. All tracts near me are no more than 20 acres

In my dealings w the Trash Panda Mafia… they generally don’t give a rip… they go wherever..whenever they feel like it.When confronted…they are always just retrieving the dog…and dont know where the property lines are…they pattern the land owner and go when it’s the most convenient time to not get caught…it’s a circus

I find it odd that people make excuses for trespassing. The fact dogs can’t read or know not to cross a fence means nothing. If the property isn’t big enough to keep dogs on DONT hunt it. If you can’t find such properties tough luck that’s your issue not the rest of the worlds.

I’ve yet to ever hear a single reasonably legit statement of why it’s ok to trespass. The “just getting my dog” is BS. The fact that many set up knowing there going to (if you hunt small tracts) is non defensible IMO. I’m all for hunting every thing and every way possible if done legally. If your trespassing you don’t fall into that category.
