The END!!!!
Nobody cares what you do on "your" land,
When you cross property lines to land that you don't have permission for....
That's the issue.
If you can't keep your dogs off private land that you don't have permission to be on.
Do the dog a favor and get him a smarter owner, that can handle the dog.

There's a reason most dog hunters won't hunt near a major highway, they have no animal control and the animal gets killed on the highway.

I don’t dispute anything you just said you are correct. But yes there are some bad coon hunters that break the law just as there are deer hunters that break the law. I would say most everyone has broken some law at some point whether it’s trespassing, not tagging game, baiting etc. I understand the frustration of trespassers I have had to deal with it on a lease before.

I would bet 10 times more deer hunters cross property lines in ky per year than do coon hunters. There are good and bad in both.

I deer hunt and run dogs. I do not run my dogs where I deer hunt during deer season. Therefore, I do not run my dogs on land I have permission to run my dogs during deer season if I know someone deer hunts that farm.
I have found most land owners will grant permission in the off season for me to run my dogs. Some of them we have an agreement I will text them and let them know I am going to be on their land that night.
I would say that's true just based on statistics. I would also guess there are more than 10x as many deer hunters as coon hunters in the woods, so in reality, the % of deer hunters who trespass vs coon hunters is probably lower.

Coon hunting is the most annoying sport I have ever seen,if I need a dog pound (what it sounds like) to kill a coon then I would never do it,can’t stand a bunch of barking dogs, and plus they go we’re ever..

Most dumbest thing imo..smh.!!!

Dogs have zero effect on the deer. How do I know? Well on one WMA I know guys that run their rabbit dogs almost non stop on one tract. It’s also one of, if not the best deer tract. The biggest deer are almost always killed there. Deer move when the dogs are close then return shortly after. I’ve had the same results when a pack of neighborhood hounds were on my hunting spot one year. The ran only when the dogs were almost on top of them and came back when they were out of the area a little piece.

The trespassing deal is a whole different story. They need permission period. I’d make a deal with them. Let them hunt once deer season is over and it helps you with predator control and you won’t have to worry about them coming on you during season.

YI have owned a small tract of rural property that I have enjoyed for 30 years. My reason I own it is providing me and my sons a place of our own to deer hunt. I do many things to facilitate deer hunting such as food plots, land and forestry practices etc. Last night around midnight I happened to be nearby and stopped to check something in my barn. As I was leaving, I found a truck parked at my
