Mathews zxt. Pretty much the Z7 bow. I won’t own any other brand.
LOL at this thread. I remember when the compound bow was going to ruin all deer hunting. Those evil things would kill every deer in the country.
Mathews Switchback XT and Mathews Creed. I’ve been wanting to buy a “new to me” Mathews though. I’m kind of interested in the No Cam HTR or HTX. I’d like to try a Hoyt but it’s just hard to get away from Mathews.
Same boat...Mine still shoots like the day i got it.
Got a hoyt helix and love it I would recommend it to anyone
I have buddies who buy the latest a greatest every year or so.. I really don't see the point.
You are constantly in the hole resale on used bows stink.
I remember I was a recurve Hunter and my neighbor bought a brand new bear whitetail compound, it was noisy and slow. I remember thinking these things will never catch on..
Depends on what month you ask me......
Currently shooting an Athens Revelation 6 and really like it. I've owned probably 25-30 bows in the past 5 years, most all companies make a solid bow these days, just depends on what feels good to you and how much money you want to fork out! I haven't bought a brand new bow in over 15 years, I search in the Classifieds on ArcheryTalk unitl I find something that interests me.
I'm a big fan of some of lesser known brands like Athens, Obsession, Prime and Xpedition.
Still hunt with my Ice, love that bow.
I had a carbon extreme back in the day. I liked that old bow a lot. Shot my 2413's at 290 fps. Of course I was pulling 83lbs.
Have a Martin bengal I bought brand new about 13 years ago. It shoots as good today as it did back then. There a newer bows that are a little faster and a little quieter and lighter weight. But for the money they want for them is crazy for such a small improvement in my opinion.
