Iwom Can also wear as a parka jacket. Or carry in like a Fanny pack Can literally wear sweatpants and sweatshirt in the morning where you won’t sweat then put on the Iwom and will be warm.

Several others have said it, but the Sitka Fanatic is the warmest I've ever put on. You MUST carry it to your stand. You can't wear this stuff walking to your stand!! I've never had a problem getting cold, but as I've aged I can't stand it. I have the bibs and jacket, and I can sit in any temps KY has to offer well into January.

My brother in law gave me a Bosch heated jacket and it’s the only jacket I need now.

Rather interesting to me that no hunter has mentioned furs. I like furs.

I used to work for a frozen meat company, and had to go out to the warehouse to repair computers. I bought a "freezer suit," and I still have it. The company that made it went out of business a few years ago, otherwise I'd point you there. I could drive to work in -2F with the windows down. However, you can look up "freezer suit" on Amazon and elsewhere and get a fair approximation. Refrigiwear looks about right.

For staying warm on the stand, we've taken to wearing:

under a waterproof shell. They do a passable job of insulating.

I wear insulated overalls during cold weather hunting. Not fun sitting in a ladder stand shivering from cold morning weather. You might also have a good pair of gloves and warm pull over hat too. With our warm weather we're currently having, with no cold weather in sight, Deer season should be interesting.

I’ve got a wind proof wool sweater that prob my favorite outer layer.
Wind proof, quiet and low bulk. Great piece

The best cold weather gear that I have personally used. I have done several all day sits in the low teens dressed in base layers with the fanatic bibs and jacket.

Last two years I bought one of those cheap heated vest you can get on Amazon. So far they have done great. Just make sure you get the good battery so it will last a lot longer. I got my battery’s at Wally World for 40 bucks each

My dad like those fur bomber hats. He’s got a real old one he swears by.

Most of my hunting stuff is inexpensive and I don’t want to purchase new stuff. I just layer up. My feet used to never get cold so I guess it’s aging and a circulation thing. Last season I bought some 800 gram boots. Have never needed more than 400g and good socks before. It happens I guess. My bibs are from the late 80s. LOL.

I bought a heated vest off Amazon last year that uses any external batter pack for phones. It works really well and I typically keep two batteries with me to last all day depending on the setting. The other jackets I use I got from the KYGUNCO sale over the last few years from NOMAD. The NOMAD or HEYBO which work well. I also use some of my Drake Waterfowl gear for deer hunting. Really nice stuff and very warm. Biggest thing is to wear quality / wicking base layer. Pure Cotton = COLD

Same. I normally hunt in dark brown bibs and carhartt type coat unless I’m bow hunting. I’m too cheap I guess lol
