1. All classified ads must be posted in the "Classifieds" Forum. If you post a classified ad in any other forum it will be deleted, without notification.

2. When Posting Your Item(s), you MUST be descriptive in your Post Title (Subject). Example: For Sale - Remington 1100 Shotgun - Example: Wanted - Used Mallard Decoys - Example: For Trade - Goose Call. If your post title does not have either, "For Sale, Wanted, or For Trade included, your post will be deleted, without notification.

3. If you are selling or trading an item (Boat, Camper, Decoys, Guns, etc) that must be picked up, you MUST include your location in your post. Location is defined as City & State.

4. Do not email, call, text or PM any admins or moderators if your deal goes south. You are responsible for listing, selling, buying, trading, etc.

5. We reserve the right to delete any thread for any reason.

6. We reserve the right to add or edit rules concerning classifieds.

7. Commercial ads welcome. Please follow all other rules of the classifieds and list specific items for sale.

8. When your item sells, post up and let us know so we can remove the thread. This cuts down on clutter, and eliminates sold items popping up when someone performs a search for an item.

9. Classifieds are for posting items only. Take comments and general discussion to PMs or start thread in the appropriate section of the forum.

10. I am sure we will add new rules so check back often.

Question since one post has already been deleted. In the rules above, it does not state items must be hunting or fishing related. However, on the front page, it does say so. Can we get this clarified? I see no reason to exclude anything but that's just me.

Pretty much anything outdoors related is fine. The first post was deleted because it didn't follow the rules. State a location and for sale, wanted or for trade in your post to keep people from having to ask a thousand questions

On one of the mustang forums I'm apart of we have a post count minimum and you must have a picture with screen name and date on paper with the item for sale. I know this is a whole lot smaller community than that forum but it seemed to work very well. So food for thought

Classifieds are great! A couple suggested rules

1. No banter/bs, haggling, or bs in thread. Possibly a no bump/ttp for a certain timeframe from seller?

2. Always seems to work better when someone declares in the thread body that they will purchase item. Of course, I think people should be able to sell to whomever they choose. Maybe that should be announced in seller's original post.
