I need to clean the barrel of my muzzleloader. Problem is I have a scope on the barrel. How do you go about cleaning it with the scope on. It is a 50cal.CVA stainless short barrel, percussion.
    Thanks,
    Dave

    I am assuming side hammer?

If you are wanting to immerse it in water, I have seen kits where a piece of tubing attaches at the nipple hole and you just run the tubing off into your soapy water.

Otherwise, you are looking at removing your scope or going through a pile of patches doing it one wet patch at a time.

quackrstackr , is correct with using a tube to clean a scoped M/L. Make certain your water is VERY HOT too!
