Since the end of the world is nigh, I cooked dinner for me and my wife.

Pan seared salmon, baked beans, and cole slaw. She had Belgian chocolates for desert. I'm having coffee with the dogs...

I think she might be gettin' spoiled...

    Looks super!
I love fresh salmon of any kind, my family not so much so we don't have it very often.

Looking good! I made ribs, beans, and red potatoes that turned out better than normal. I feel bad for not taking the time to grab a couple pics.

Salmon looks great! Love it! Tortellini Soup here. Something the Italian wife whips up in short notice sometimes. Delicious.

I hate salmon period. Got burned out on it living up north and caught the heck out of them for years. I can't even stand the smell without wanting to puke. Coho, Chinook, Atlantic made no difference they all smell and taste the same to me.. Fun to catch tho when they get around 20+ pounds. Hook onto a 20+ pound Chinook is like getting ahold of a mack truck or pissed off bulldog. If you lived real close to a stream they spawn and die in I bet you would be the same way. Times in the fall I could walk out of my house and gag from the smell of dead fish. More power to you if you like them tho.

I'm not a big fan of salmon, but skin on seems to taste better to me. Just salt and pepper. Red hot skillet with a dab of crisco and pat of butter. The trick is don't fool with the fish once it hits the heat. About 2 minutes on one side, 3 minutes on the other.

She should have kicked you out of the house. Fly in some fresh lobster and make her lobster thermidor .
