Im glad i pay nearly half my income to taxes and they cant keep chinese balloons out of our airspace. Roads bridges and defend our borders/airspace, stop with the rest.

It would take 10 million dollars to shoot it down, by the time the military puts time in to locate it, track it, gather information, get the artillery to shoot it and finally figure out the best way to shoot it down the money will be racked up from Democrats with their hands out.
Then suppose they miss the cost will go up and what if they miss the shot? It will be embarrassing.

From what I am seeing the balloon will be gone in a few more days. It is the size of two school busses and if shot down it may land and kill someone.
The Chinese have satellites and can already see everything they need to just like we can see what other countries are up to.
But the Chinese may be testing to see if they can drop a bomb or use it to deliver a bioweapon.
