Chances at a buck during MZ

Yes on all! Lay out the feed they will come to eat and check out Doe's that didn't get breed! Late mzl can be some of the best hunting we have.

 

It can be a great time. A few are often even responsive to calling.

Yep. I've seen bucks with does during the free youth season on December 31st. You just never know.

 

Always liked late muzz. Shot my biggest/oldest doe being chased by a 10 pointer late muzz. Had already burned my buck tag. Good time to be in the woods and love a chance to hunt in the snow.

 

I shot my personal best in ky during late muzz season he was cruising looking for does late morning. Also last season I had 4 bucks chasing a single small doe during late season but the largest may have scored 75 lol

 

Yes. Especially if it had corn spilled in it.

 

My dad who is 78 and freezes to death has always loved late ML. My problem is work. I may get to go weekends only unless I take off. I didn’t last year but the two years before, rattled in decent bucks late ML and just couldn’t get a shot.
