Any center point fans on here. Have some good reviews this year
I've read good things abt them almost pulled the trigger on one last year instead i went w TenPoint.
Looked at a few. Nice crossbows. Killer Instincts are nice too. My old man bought one last year.
Have a sniper 370..seems to be a good unit. Im not a xbow expert by no means..but it does what its designed to do.
I also have a Sniper 270. All I have shot at is targets. I was amazed at the accuracy.
Mine may be a 270 also not sure. Accuracy is great. Same here with the targets only, but i have no doubt it would go right thru a critter.
My Bad. My bow is a 370
i also have a sniper 370. been a great first crossbow for me, killed a doe with it last year
Just came out with another 415 bow this year get it for around 369.00
Love that brand just bought one
My mistake, mine is a 370. Hit the wrong key.
Yeah mine is for sure a 370..shot it a.few days ago.
Bought a Sniper 370 couple of years ago. Had a guy on Crossbow Nation do a trigger job on it for around $100 or $125. I think the guys user name was TXRDX. Xbox was usable before the trigger job and better after. Also, the better the bolts you buy, the better it'll shoot.
Totally ignorant about crossbows. What’s the effective range of them for deer?
I'd caution for ppl to NOT shoot em at deer like they do targets. You could probably push past my personal limit of 40yds with a vertical bow but keep it at 50 If your comfortable and the deer isn't on high alert. Just too many variables to go wrong at that range no matter how good you shoot during practice. My 2 cents...
Little OT but we shot a buddies xbow in WV that impressed me. The company (can't recall name) advertised it shooting 100yds. He brought it up and I called bs right away. He got a stupid good deal on a over 2k$ xbow which also made me call bs lol but sure enough that's what they cost new. This thing was tiny compared to any ive seen (which isn't many) with the total width I'd guess 12-14" not cocked. I called him out and poked my fun till he went and got it lol. I couldn't hardly believe the size of this dang thing! never mind supposed to shoot on target at 100yds. He pulls out some little crank and winds this thing up as i chuckled. We each fire it and go look. I couldn't friggin believe 3 of us had put 3 arrows or bolts in a 6 inch circle at 100 stinkin yards! I got to hear about that the rest of the night lol. It felt real damweird watching the bolt go out of the scopes view then drop back in on the target. I also like the wide part above the grip that made it pretty much impossible to get your fingers above it. Ok I'll quit the rambling but if you get a chance to shoot one, do it!
