    The window.

    Extension jambs installed and shimmed.

    Marking the horns.

The stool has been cut out to fit between the jambs, fastened in with trim screws, and the horns have been mitred to accept the returns.
The returns glued, and nailed on.
The apron return. The apron goes under the stool.

    The fully cased window.

Looks good Barney. How wide is the casing? 4 1/4”? Not going to lie...we normally don’t return the ends of the stool when it’s painted. We route and sand the end grain :(.....or was is a pre routed stool?

    It's 4 1/4" casing, and I returned the stool.

I really like the 1" thickness, and look of landing tread for window stool, but regular ol' stool was in the budget for the owners.

You have good luck with those bostich guns Barney? I know of several out of commission (not mine maybe they didn't oil em properly). I bit the bullet and bought a paslode because most places don't have electricity (dumb I know for humidity etc) and I'm not trimming the whole house.

I've always been a fan of these older model Bostitch guns. I don't like the new ones.
