There was 7-8 that showed up. The only ones doing the main cooking was CL and Pentail if I remember right, don’t think Shiz-Nit was there but I Can’t remember all of them. But I remember that Bacon Pen had and someone brought some smoked Macaroni that almost ruined me. Was some photos floating around. I ruined my phone and lost all of mine. Was a good day. Like to do it again. Or have a big gathering this spring before it gets to hot and all of us that can get together.
CL guided me through my first smoked brisket, came out perfect. He gave up a few little secrets that really made a difference, like soaking your rub on the brisket with cooking spray prior to smoking for an impressive bark.
CL Button left a huge hole on this site that has never been filled. He was always ready to help no matter what.
...and covering it in lettuce. Not sure what that was sposed to do but CL said to do it and that was good enough for me.
