Bullfrog season

Now I’m not one to judge but drinking, guns, dark, poor footing and kids adds up to a potential for disaster…with that said, we did a lot of the above in college pre-kid.

Truth. Using headlights when your flashlight batteries die seems like a great idea when you’re drunk, till your truck slides down the bank and into the pond. Getting pulled out by an angry farmer at 3 am sure is sobering.

Was a great memory as a kid, dad and my uncles would load up in single cab Chevy and head to a big farm pond, stopping at old keenes depot before dark and getting a pack of baseball cards coke and dad and uncle got a few cold Miller in them little bottles, they caught them by hand so they could clean in the morning, man I miss that shit, simple times but very memorable.

I’m trying to get my pond back in shape after the ducks decimated the frog population! They are all the crawdads, too. Bullfrogs are coming back but the crawdads, not so much.

Didn't take any, but we did alright. Managed 53, so a few short of full limits, but we called it at about 2am. Had a blast and we saw more deer than frogs. Me and Jr are dragging pretty bad this morning, but it's worth it lol
