Bucks starting to shed

Was driving to a buddies house today and glanced off the road in a field we have permission to hunt and saw some tines. Bucks starting to drop. Been getting a few trailcam pics of them dropping as well. Time to start posting our finds. Good luck.

I've seen one antlered buck on camera since the big freeze.

Ive been seeing some near the house that have dropped.

I found a "Right-side" antler around eight days ago. I normally start seeing sheds around the end of February though.

Some are dropping on our Farm in Northen Franklin county as well.

Office was closed today so I ran out to pull a stand and move another one. As I was walking along the side of a hill I jumped 4 bucks all bedded together in a little thicket. 3 were small and one was better but still smallish. All holding both sides. I dropped a pin and I’ll go back in a few weeks and see if I can find some sheds.

I walk all over the woods and never find a shed and you spot them laying in a field driving down the road? You sir have a real eye for them tines lol but I also can’t find dryland fish to save my life either lol while a guy walking behind would say you about stepped on one lol

Lol I usually don't look til around first of March. Just happened to spot these. Luck always plays alot in shed hunting, morels and ginseng. I've walked over all 3 and find them on another pass days later.

Found 7 sheds today. Normally don't look this early, but was checking coon traps and found 3 very nice ones so I decided to look in a few of our usual sheddy spots and found 4 more. None had blood on them. Good start

I had a friend, hunting this weekend, had 4 different bucks come by, less than 20 yards, all had already lost their racks

We found one shed while rabbit hunting yesterday, also saw a very good buck driving to our hunting spot.

I've seen 9 bucks so far today, and all had both sides

It seems pretty early I thought as well. But some are dropping. Guess it depends on the stress they have been under during the rut or hunting pressure that contributes to how early they drop. Like I said before I usually wait til end of February or first of March before I really start looking.

Picked up 3 small sheds the past two days.
