Spikes aren’t big bucks?

Been keeping eye to ground. No sheds yet. Need to swap trail cards.
Spikes, Not yet but soon will be in a few years. Lots of four, six and big eight pointers all with horns.
The bigger tens are still packing, seen a few of those but all are at night. Did see a new ten with crab claws show up in daylight early one morning. Had not seen this one on camera before.

Took a walk through the neighborhood late this afternoon. Saw @ 10 deer including 1 buck that already dropped one side. 1st one that I have seen this season to have shed.

I dont have a camera out, but friends are saying they are seeing several that have dropped, at least 1 side, as for finding sheds, and i dont look much, but have never found one while actually looking for them , that i remember, have stumbled across several turkey hunting over the years, including one super nice on at lbl about 35 or so years ago.

Took a walk, pulled some stands. Looked for sheds for the dogs and found one nice one but nothing for the dogs. I found 2 little ones in the basement i forgot about so Dogs got them. The 8 pointer has some serious brow mass and a weird second base (or kicker?) not sure what to call it. Maybe an eye guard?

Cool shed! Do you have any history with that buck? I call those devil points. I have a buck that has one I'm looking forward to searching for that this winter and spring

This is the only one I've seen that's shed. But he looks sick so that's prolly why he shed early.

He tempted me this year but there are 3 other bucks i was wanting to hold out for that never gave me an opportunity. I passed him with a bow twice. Once with my with my rifle. Then saw him (no shot opportunity) with my muzzle loader. I had a few run of the mill 110” basket eights running around for the last few years so hard to tell which one he was last year.
I have been hunting the same 3 stands and my walk today gave me a few ideas for next year. Im quite certain the bucks im after can be killed if I switch things up on them. Regardless if i see this one again next year he’s dying lol.

Ill be looking for his other half, probably even dump corn to keep some bucks around, although i think they are hitting my WW pretty good already

This buck likes bad weather sorry the pics suck. as you can see other than his brow mass he isn’t very impressive…

He looks like he's at that age where he might make a big jump this year.

I hope so.
If not i hope i can change up a few things and get one of these 2 to screw up. I didnt get a picture this year (i run 1 cam intermittently) but saw them both this summer. They just leave in august. I saw the 9 while working at my neighbor’s place in late october.
