Nice one. I am curious which part of Floyd Co did you get him in? I grew up on Right Beaver and still have a farm there but never hunt it. As a kid we did not have any deer at all and I still equate "No Deer" to home event though I have personally seen some big ones on the farm. Maybe I need to start hunting at home again, lol. I have seen 10's, 12's and some nice 8's on our farm but no 8's as nice as yours. God genetics on that boy.
Very close to right beaver This one was on 680 between 80 and Minnie. All of Floyd County is producing some good deer these days. Just not a high population of deer like the central and western part of the state. But with these mountains they have a chance to get old and big.
