Got my recurve about a month ago and I've been having a blast shooting it. I'd really like to hunt with it in the fall. What broadheads do you guys like?

If you're shooting under 50lb, any sharp COC 2 blade. Over 50lb, a good solid COC 3 blade. I like Magnus for 2 blade and VPA for 3 blade

I only shoot woodies so I’m not familiar with any screw in BH’s. That being said, I love three bladed heads. I use Woodsmans and Snuffers. I shoot the Woodsmans outta my 43# longbow with great success. I shoot the Snuffers outta my 48# recurve. Millions of big game animals have dies to two bladed heads and I’ve killed some with them, but, the lack of blood trail convinced me to shoot the three bladed. Good luck.

I shoot a 50# Bear Montana longbow, wood shafts .... and the only broadhead I ever used with this set-up are Woodsman’s.

Ive always thought I wouldn’t mind trying a 2 blade head like a Zwickey Eskimo. But the Woodsman’s work and I talk myself out of it.

If it does the job, why change? I like a 2 blade, killed more with a magnus 2 blade than anything, but sometimes the bloodtrail not so good. Penetration seems to be better, but that can be a big argument. Everytime I get both lungs, the deer usually piles up within sight, or at least earshot.
