Yea,
Go to Food City and find Leggs Old Plantation pork sausage seasoning in the spice section(it is in a light tan bag about the size of a sandwich bag). It only cost about $1 and mixes with 25# of meat.
Real good!

I have 10 acres in Central Florida and have had a lot of success in trapping wild hogs. My wife being a great cook would like to know if anyone has some breakfast sausage recipes that they would like to share.[8D]

Im talking about making sausage. I've tried several recipes and they were a bit bland. We do hunt the hogs in the fall mainly with bow and arrow, but right now we trap them to keep the population down while we are building our new home. But there are a lot of good hunting areas for hog in Dixie County, Florida. Big Bend Jena Unit being the best (my own favorite).
