From a different property or what? Interesting.
I assume.. a guy I know has had that buck on camera starting in august. I don't know of anyone but him hunting the property.

There is not much of a story to it I can give you what I got tho. I hunted and ran cameras on 2200 pounds of corn last year and saw one buck over 4 points. The Friday night before gun season I stayed out till 2:30 at a poker game but still planned on hunting. It was a miracle I woke after falling asleep on the couch after eating a ribeye and a big bowl of bob Evans six cheese mac and cheese.
I miraculously woke up 30 minutes before day light with no alarm on three hours sleep. I hurried up and put on my stuff packed some water and other stuff and jumped in the car to go up the road. I got in there at 7 am with my orange on and hunted on the ground. I saw a mom deer and two little ones walk 25 yards in front of me undetected. That's about all I saw until the other one. I was thinking intermittently wonder where all the bucks travel and I prolly won't see one after 1030 anyways I should prolly just leave and watch the college football game at 12. So I texted a buddy and asked him how long he was staying and he told he usually stays all day opening weekend of gun season ( rifle hunter only).
So I couldn't be out done or be made to look weak so I had to at least stay til 12. I laid back for a few minutes cause my hind end was hurting. (Didn't bring a cushion) at 1107 I heard him crashing thru the woods with two does and I sat up and looked at it thru the scope. I saw the g2 and G3 on it briefly and decided to shoot it thinking it was likely around 135 inches if I was lucky again. I dropped him in his tracks with a heart to back shoulder shot. I waited about 30 minutes and texted some people I shot one but not real big. I may regret shooting it blah blah blah. Even when I walked up to it I thought it was maybe 150 I just was happy that it had 11 points and a kicker. Not until I took it to the taxidermy I realized it's going to go around 170 with 17 in g2s and nearly the same g3s.
The deer scored 166 1/2 inches the taxi just texted me
Thanks for sure god lord was with you ands good old luck congrats again there kybold bowhunter
