bobcats get HOW BIG

An old tom can get as big as 40 lbs.
The female in my avatar was 21 lbs.

 

My biggest was a tom that weighed 20lb 14 oz. Biggest one I've personally saw or killed. I've herd of some 30lbers here in south central ky.

 

called one in for a friend that weighed 35 lbs

 

Mine weighted 25 lbs exactly.

 

Have killed one that weighed 27lbs . Friend trapped one 35lbs., biggest I've ever seen.

 

we treed on that was 34 lbs.

 

I hope you weren't going to shoot it. They aren't legal until Nov 20.

 

Killed a tom cat that weighed 42 lbs but i think it was a cross beteween a house cat because of the off color. But he had pointed ears and a bob tail. I have pictures but they are on a disposable 35 mm camera somewhere.

 

Probably bred with one of the many cougars around here!

 

I think he had a bow camera he was trying to get turned on.

 

Googled Wilkapedia......the largest bobcat on record.....48.9 lbs

However accordingly.... the largest BOBCAT weighs in at a whopping.... 10,008 lbs.

the one we treed was around 2 years ago and yes it was in season and i did call it in.
