I seen a doe and yearling this morning. Oh and I also seen a mouse jump up out of some leaves and back down into some more. That was a first for me. Probably a deer mouse so maybe that counts as three deer.

Im just now somewhat getting over the flu, "who gets the flu in rifle season" ME. but im gonna hit the woods in morning with my cough muffler before the rain sets in Sunday. Not to stressed, from now through Christmas is good deer hunting. Most people don't hunt this time because they are tagged out or dont bow hunt.

I've always loved late season, but can't help but account for all the big deer that have already been killed. Your chances are certainly cut down.

Thats true, i hunt in harlan, the same area i live. If you never been to harlan we have way more land and mountains than people. And i know all the deer hunters that hunt within a few miles of where i do. And i lost one of my shooter bucks to a friend , but i have some on camera thats still on the hoof thankfully

I was down bad for 10 days with it....tomorrow will be my first day out hunting this season.

My buddies whole family has been down all season. He’s going to try to go tomorrow. I told him I’d take my chances if he was too weak to drag and skin it.

ended up this evening seeing 14 doe,1 spike,what should have been decent 8pt,but had 2 points broke off right side,Tomorrow is my birthday,Never had opertunity had a dandy on my birthday, see what happens tomorrow
