bird hunting

I actually have some time to get in the woods and do some hunting this weekend. I was thinking about taking my Brittany up to Kleber. Are there any birds up that way? I don't want to travel too far from the house. The dog has done decent on some pheasants in Ohio this year. I was just wanting to run him a little and try to get him into some quail.

I've never hunted that area, GSP may have some ideal.

I've not hunted there myself, but I have heard reports there are a few birds. Don't know anything about what the land looks like though.

there are some birds on kleber, but you'll hunt for them. one of the good things is that you've got the rich wildlife area right there as well & its got birds too. this is gentle rolling terrain with creek bottoms & alot of cedar thickets.

Even if you can't find any quail, you should find some woodcock.
Theyr'e migrating thru the state now and are quite common. Beautiful bird.[]
